Challanges

  1. Two-sided clarity. Give clients a fast path from search → profile → availability → booking, while giving professionals a simple way to get set up (profile, services, availability, payouts).

  2. Trust at a glance. Profiles and category pages needed to communicate credibility (packages, reviews, location, experience) without cognitive overload.

  3. Operational efficiency. Reduce manual coordination via a dashboard that surfaces events, cancellations, and quick actions; keep everyone informed with lightweight messaging.

My Process

Mapped the end-to-end flow (client discovery → booking → reminders → completion; pro-onboarding → services → calendar → earnings).

  • Consolidated UI into a compact design library (cards, stats, lists, chips, badges, modals) seen across dashboard, members, booking, and public pages.

  • Shipped in two phases to balance supply & demand.

  • Ratings & reviews v2 (structured, per-package + media).

  • Recommendation rails on profile (“Similar professionals”) and after booking (“Prepare for your session”).

  • Calendar integrations (two-way sync + conflict detection across providers).

What I’d Do Next

Phase 1: Professional Side (onboarding & scheduling)

What we designed & shipped:

  • Onboarding walkthrough: Customize profileAvailability & Calendar SyncPayment setup.

  • Services & packages creation with clear hierarchy (title, description, language, pricing) and a “Create new service” CTA

  • Operational dashboard with stat tiles (upcoming / canceled / done), a compact year strip calendar, and an Events table showing job status chips (Upcoming, In Progress, Completed).

  • Members list (customers table) with value tiles up top (New, Recurring, Value, Active) and in-row “Message” action.

  • Chat with members for quick coordination and follow-ups.

Phase 2: Client Side (discovery, profiles, and booking)

What we designed & shipped:

  • Homepage with AI-powered search hero (“We’re redefining how you connect with the services you need”), credibility section (“Why choose planora”, and category grid.

  • About page clarifying value for both audiences + FAQ.

  • Public professional profile with location, years of experience, skills, services, reviews, and a Packages block (Basic/Standard/Pro).

  • Book session flow with date picker, available time slots, selected details summary, clear fees, and a friction-free Schedule CTA.
